Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the voice of the undergraduate student body. SGA focuses on representing and promoting student interests.

SGA is comprised of an executive board and senate. Executive board members are elected each year in a campus-wide election. Their positions are:

  • Student body president
  • Executive vice president
  • Vice president for finance
  • Vice president for mission and identity

The senate is comprised of senators representing all undergraduate student organizations, housing, and athletics. Senators are elected or appointed by their individual constituencies.

2017 Senate Meetings

Meetings are open to the entire campus, and students and faculty are encouraged to attend and take part in the discussion. All meetings take place at 5 p.m. in the Evans Center Lecture Hall.

Meeting dates during the spring 2017 semester are: 

  • January 17
  • January 31
  • February 14
  • February 28
  • March 14
  • March 28
  • April 11
  • April 25
