Start by talking with your advisor; dropping a class can affect your anticipated graduation date or interfere with course pre-requisites. If you and your advisor agree that dropping a class is in your best interest, stop by the Registrar’s Office to pick-up a Schedule Change (drop/add) form or print one online
. Next, make an appointment to meet with the faculty member of the class you are dropping or visit them prior to the start of the class you intend to drop. The instructor AND
your advisor will need to sign the Schedule Change (drop/add) form. Finally, return the Schedule Change (drop/add) form to the Registrar’s Office. The university sets deadlines for dropping and adding classes each semester. You can reference important semester dates by going to the schedule of classes packet, which is available online
. The Registrar’s Office also posts important deadline date reminders on the “News” section of the CAMS Student Portal.
