Talent Award for Instrumental Performance

The Fine Arts Talent Award for Instrumental Performance is available to students with outstanding abilities who agree to be active participants in the Marian University Marching Band or Color Guard. This award is based on the level of commitment of the recipient and position openings with the instrumental program for the current season.

Eligibility

Applicants for the Fine Arts Talent Award for Instrumental Performance must:

Have completed the Marian University admissions application process and been admitted in good standing.
Participate in a live audition on campus.
Demonstrate outstanding ability and commitment through the audition process.
Commit to an educational experience framed within the context of Marian University’s Franciscan values of dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship.

Applicants must complete the admissions process to Marian University.

Selection

Award recipients will be notified of their status in writing.

Renewal

The Fine Arts Talent Award for Instrumental Performance is renewable annually based on full-time enrollment and successful fulfillment of the requirements outlined in the Marian University Student Handbook for the Department of Music.
