Application Process for Transfer Students

  • It's quick, easy, and free to apply online for admission to Marian University.
  • We offer scholarships for transfer students, including the ASAP Ivy Tech Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, and the American Honors Scholarship.
  • You do not need to formally apply for these scholarships—you will automatically be considered when we receive your admission application.
  • If you are awarded a scholarship or other financial aid from Marian University, you will receive an award letter from us with more details.

How and When to Apply

  • Apply anytime for fall or spring admission.
  • We must have official copies of your academic transcripts from all high schools, colleges, and/or universities that you currently attend or have previously attended.
  • Use this Transcript Request Form to request your transcripts from schools where you are a current or former student. As noted on the form, transcripts should be sent to: Marian University // Office of Admission // 3200 Cold Spring Road // Indianapolis, IN 46222-1997.
  • Your application is not complete until your transcripts are received.
  • Once your application is complete and you have been accepted, you can enroll for classes.

Due Dates

Please submit your application by these due dates for fall or spring admission. Applications received AFTER these dates will be considered for the next semester.

  • Fall semester: Apply before August 1
  • Spring semester: Apply before December 30

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. If you are admitted to Marian University, you will be notified by U.S. mail.
