Scheduled Activities

Pre-orientation week

The 2017-18 academic year for 21st Century Scholars begins with Pre-Orientation Week activities starting Monday, August 14 through Friday, August 18. The first full day of classes is Monday, August 21, 2017.

This year's theme is Your Adventure Awaits! During pre-orientation, you will:
  • Interact with other incoming scholars, become familiar with campus, learn about the resources we offer, and obtain tools that will help you prepare for success during your first year.
  • Be matched with an upperclass 21st Century Scholar who will be your mentor.
  • Move into your residence hall room (unless you've been approved for off-campus housing).

All Pre-Orientation Week events for 21st Century Scholars are free. Food and transportation are included.
