First-Year Freshman Students

1. Complete the Marian University application for admission and submit your $35 application fee. Or, you may apply online for free.

2. Request that an official copy of your high school transcript and SAT/ACT test scores be sent to:

3. If you have not taken the SAT or ACT test be sure to list Marian University's code on the registration form.

   • 1224 for the ACT
   • 1442 for the SAT

Transfer Students

In addition to the application, transfer students must submit official transcripts from all previous institutions attended. Request a transcript from a previous institution

International Students

1. Official Transcripts
   All transcripts must be translated into English and college credentials must be evaluated in detail by a professional service. Marian University recommends one of the following services for official transcript evaluation: www.aacrao.org, www.ece.org, www.ierf.org, www.wes.org.

2. Proof of English Proficiency
   Applicants must submit official results of one of the following exams:

   • Test of English As a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
     score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based)

   • The American College Testing Program (ACT)

3. Financial Documentation

   • A signed Statement of Financial Support form from the person(s) assuming responsibility for all fees associated to the applicant while attending Marian University.

   • Official bank statements showing sufficient funds from the person(s) submitting the Statement of Financial Support.

Once they are admitted, international students must pay the first year’s tuition, fees, room and board minus any financial aid in order to receive the I-20 form.

International students must provide evidence of insurance or purchase the plan approved by the university. The insurance policy must provide for treatment by physicians and hospitals and also medical evacuation and repatriation benefits.
